Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, the first black candidate to win a major-party gubernatorial nomination in Florida, says he won because he gave voters something to "vote for, not against."

Hillary and the Democratic National Committee had the foresight to give him the spotlight, and to introduce him to a national audience.

He was on a list of VPs for Hillary.

Proud to share the same party with him.
