honorable members of both parties, and there are some, all agreed on one thing, "John McCain was a patriot and a decent man"
There are very very few left who are in GOP and who are honorable, sadly. His passing may be the death of the GOP, the patriotic GOP that is.

that was the deciding vote opposing the GOP anti-ACA bill.

The first was Obama's adult conversation about race, and the second was this. I disagreed with lots of McCain's political positions, but he'll always be a hero of mine. And this is ONE of the reasons why.
