Some of the female Democrats running for office - 2018

In America, the women's marches in protest against President Trump and the "MeToo" movement have been significant cultural and political mustering points over the last year and a half. Well, now it all appears to have led to a surge in the number of female candidates running as Democrats in the mid-term elections this autumn.
"Even if they don't get elected, they are helping to make a shift in gender politics."
