Had to love the way Rachel brought us into the courtroom through the transcript of the 'cranky judge'. Judge gets 'extra cranky' when he gets hungry near lunchtime.

Rachel does cover the key points. The FBI stumbled upon key evidence via the Associated Press. The first witness in this case, 'an actual witness', who is called by the prosecution is an FBI agent, who specializes in 'international corruption'!! Now Manafort is going to try and change court venues -- from Alexandria Va. to 'southwest Va?' . That will lessen press coverage and prejudice to Manafort?

Each one of these motions, that have been rejected by this judge in the past, costs a small fortune. [Cohen has complained that trump has not picked up his legal fees, which Avenatti estimated as large. Manafort's fees are far, far larger. Is trump, through Russian sources, helping Manafort?]

Manafort not appearing at his own trial. 'Keeping up appearances' [at the optic level?]

History can be interesting as it happens.
