6. The Amistad has a memorial sculpture in New Haven for my city's role in defending the

slaves of the Amistad in court. Here is the link to that history

It is a lovely reminder of our very liberal city's of our city's past in fighting slavery.

This is one of the reasons I love living in New Haven.
