2. She was in full on snowflake outrage mode...

...she was all up about the reference to the Aunt in Handmaiden's Tale. She said something like "you shouldn't offend 50% of your audience". The woman next to her quickly interjected "50% of the people haven't read Handmaiden's Tale". Liz didn't blink - she did her bet KellyAnne Conway and said "well, shame on her telling a joke that 50% of the people won't understand".

Full court whine.

Let's get real here. I am as democratic as anyone, yet I don't watch most political TV and/or award shows. I didn't see the WHCA dinner show, either. I ration my viewing time--Rachel, SNL, etc., starting with my favorites.

Meaning, I didn't see it, so how can these right-wingers who refuse to watch anything remotely not-GOP claim to be offended? If they didn't pay the price of admission, they should just STFU.

So 50% didn't get the jokes? 50% of zero Republicans watching is still zero.

What they need is an infomercial selling fainting couches for GOP viewers who catch a case of the vapors watching TV shows they claim they never watch.

and couldn't come up with anything remotely hinting at a "fat lesbian softball coach". The only comment Mair could have been referring to was the "choosing softball teams" line but there was nothing in that about "fat lesbian softball coaches".

Mair is really stretching there to come up with something to be offended about. Typical Republican "let's just make some shit up" phony outrage, when their president is off on another of his "victory tour" rallies and actually is slandering and demeaning people.

Republicans sure love to dish it out, but not one of them can take it. Babies.

12. It is clear to me that Mair saw in Wolf's humor what she, herself, sees in SHS

A "fat lesbian joke"? Unless in her own mind, unexpressed and maybe uncomfortably dwelling there, Mair feels that SHS looks like a fat lesbian. How else could this idea have germinated in her head?

As Frank Zappa intoned so nicely: "What's the ugliest part of your body? Some say your nose; some say your toes. I think it's your mind."

I was listening to Michelangelo Signorile today talking with the former Daily Show alumni Lizz Winstead, and the both of them nailed it on how the BS of the likes of you and some in the media that are trying to normalize and defend serial liars in the white house, and how Sarah Huckebee Sanders is a liar, right along with her boss, maybe just maybe you and others should listen to that broadcast, because I join them and believe that the some in fourth estate need to hold themselves and this current corrupt team accountable, for trying to normalize lying, and to think that access is more important than hurting someones feelings ..........................
