How can the court accept this?

Don't Cohen and his attorney have to know what the question is before they determine whether or not the answer would tend to incriminate him? Wouldn't it help the prosecution of the case to know which particular questions Cohen and his attorney think might implicate him in a crime?

The obvious inference is that EVERYTHING about Cohen is criminal. I hope that is how judge and/or jury take this. To me it seems contemptuous of the court.
