Trump has no choice but to fire Mueller even if for no other reason than that he can’t find a lawyer to defend himself.

I see that the majority of the news out of the WH pretains to shit that have nothing to do with the country....... He is the president, like it or not, but how is he running the day to day affairs of the country if he is knee deep in scandals?

Trump's plan, from the very beginning, has been to dismantle the government, piece by piece. Different departments, the EPA, Education, State, Energy, HUD, etc. are led by complete incompetents whose prime objective has been to hollow out said departments to a point where they no longer function as intended. Then Trump can say, "see, big government just doesn't work". He's already slashed the budgets of these departments so he can give away more of our tax dollars to the very wealthy and corporations. To my knowledge not one corporation has brought it's manufacturing back to the U.S. from overseas, and hiring has been tepid, at best. One place where he is making great strides is the exploding deficit. He - and the GOP controlled Congress- have already added $1.5 trillion to the national debt from his tax scam.

The whole thing is on auto-pilot, and this will catch up to us in due time. Trump says he wants to make these decisions, but he doesn't have time, what with his 5 hrs. a day of "executive time", his weekly trip to at least one Trump owned golf course, and eating. The fat slob probably spends 4 hours a day eating, and that's a conservative estimate. This doesn't even take into consideration his voluminous legal problems, which multiply daily.

I hope I haven't bored you with a rather long explanation about your simple question about who's running the country, but there really isn't a short, concise answer.

And a hearty WELCOME TO DU, AS WELL! It's always nice to see new members join the discussion.
