He really has been on fire this week - breaking news every day and he and his writers make it a point to keep up with it. When the meeting between Trump and Kim Jong-un was announced while he was already taping, he ad libbed the rest of his monologue because he had to talk about it. With all the startling news today, I'm bummed that Thursday and Friday are repeats because of the basketball tournament. 
And you could tell that he just loved meeting the Notorious RBG!
