OP
There's an avalanche of Trump crimes, but I'm not so sure anybody would be shocked.

Energizing!
And horrifying - but we here already know trump is at the center of an international crime ring!

gathering data on the Russian mafia for Putin took it over. And, the FBI and Mueller can't wait -- now is the time and person to strike.

this (trump) is certainly involved in conspiracy! And treason, most likely, as well.

The U.S. constitution , at Article III, Section 3, defines Treason under U.S. law, and defines it very narrowly:
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court."
Russia is not, in any legal sense, an enemy; it is a geopolitical adversary/competitor, to be sure, but not (yet at least) an enemy.
I also think Professor Lichtman is far too optimistic about the likelihood that a sufficient number of Republican votes can be found in Congress to initiate impeachment proceedings, much less in the Senate to convict at an impeachment trial.

And his "base" will just make excuses for anything he did.
