This, for me, is the ultimate Smthereens performance. Quality is not good, but well worth it.

In this one, Pat was at the top of his game, just a cocky, swaggering, rocking SOB from NJ who bulldozed his way through one of the band's Kinks-style classic rockers.

He was very active on his Facebook page...he wrote his posts, and often interacted with fans. I've shared this video with him a few times.

As recently as a few days ago, he posted a message for fans concerned about his health. He assured them that he was well, looking forward to recovery, and was working with great physicians and therapists.

He was also actively trying to purchase his boyhood home in Scotch Plains, NJ. He wanted to turn it into a combination night club, recording studio, and museum of all things Smithereens.

He also recently auctioned off large amounts of his memorabilia and music gear to help pay for his medical bills. He was one hell of a guy, one hell of a rocker, and he will be missed. R.I.P.
