Virginia Tech Survivor Colin Goddard: To Stop Next Tragedy, Gun Control Must Follow Mourning

John Nichols: The Weakening of Gun Laws
http://www.thenation.com/blog/169246/john-nichols-weakening-gun-laws

After two deadly massacres in three weeks, it's become abundantly clear that stricter gun laws are necessary. So why is reform "off the table?" Nation correspondent John NIchols speaks with Amy Goodman on Democracy Now! about how gun laws across the country have been systemically weakened, and the prospects of any substantial gun reform remains dim.

The Industry of Death is a throbbing, growing mass of outlets, each showering mucho dollars for those involved in the death racket. These death merchants are going to defend their way of death profits though many methods, duping millions of Americans into defending these "masters of death" through 2nd amendments arguments, "safety" arguments, "security" arguments, etc. Colin Goddard is exactly right when he says it is past the time to sigh and say "ain't it a shame", or "this is terrible", or "our hearts go out...". We have to regulate these death weapons responsibly, say, like limiting the magazines to way less than 100 rounds, or maybe even outlaw common citizens from buying "assault weapons" that are built to kill people. Let's see, if 61 mass murders in the last 17 months ain't enough, how many are? 100? 200? Ain't this crazy?
