This could be chilling to watch if you think of today's world.

This is a long one...a whole series for Unsolved Mysteries...but the one I am referring to is at about 0.26.30
It is called the Enigma of the Swastika and is very comprehensive in describing the rise to power of the Nazi both how and why, and how the Swastika fits in to it.
The chilling part to me is to realize that these conditions exist today the same as they did in Germany in about 1920...a disastrous war a destroyed economy and some of the same kind of people doing the same kind of things...for the same reasons.

50,000 casualties and we're still messing in civil wars that don't really affect us.

We are doing it with little ones...by comparison of course....but we kill millions and use American Exceptional ism in place of Aryan supremacy.

Hate is a powerful tool. Ignorance is rampant in our country. The difference is that we have been dumbed down by the television. The television is our window on the world, and what we see is not real. It is all made up. We are living in a fantasy. They say that the number one thing that people from other countries find when they visit is that we arent like the television shows that depict us. We have created an alternate reality. We believe in that reality. That is what Rupert murderdock knows. He can write the script any way he likes. And his network has formed our image. Its now pretty. It is full of hate. It is full of fear and it is violent.
Having said all that, I would make it clear that Americans have always been a violent people. We were violent when we arrived some 390 years ago. Capt Smith was a psychopath, apparently. Our cruel and violent forefathers often dispensed justice with a very swift and intolerant hand. Tar and feathering was common. Lynching and burning was common. We used to hang people all the time, right out in public. But that was real. What Germany did , was real.
We have a large demographic right now that is perfectly comfortable with the threat of violence. While we are fat, we worry that our lust for blood will not be satiated. We worry that we are going to be poor. In the struggle to keep up, we worry that we will fall behind. Lose all the treasures that enslave us. We are never happy. We are angry. Our world is anger. Our world is greed. Our world is fear and our world is violence. We have long lost touch with who and what we are.
I am afraid that we are going to experience all the hatred and violence in the next 2 years that has built up in the past 30. The seething masses of redneck fox programmed hate filled tea billies and their sister splinter hate groups are going to have multiple eruptions like the ones we have been seeing more and more. Perhaps that is why they built the FEMA camps. Maybe thats what they are for. Who knows?
