She seemed to be cold, curled up like that. Perhaps they should have covered her with a blanket.
Poor old girl.

(51,627 posts)5. I watched a show about a mother chimp and her young son
who lived in the wild. For some reason the mother died and the rest of the chimps from her group all came for a "funeral" and mourned her then they all went away except for her child. He built a hammock in the trees over her body and stayed there for three weeks without drinking and eating until he eventually died there too. He died of a broken heart basically. I will never forget seeing that...I still get tears.
