1. How could anyone listen to this man and complain about his motive or party loyalties?

OUR fight is his fight! His fight is our fight. Health care and income disparity are major problems that are also our common concerns. I am a Kennedy - FDR social Democrat and I want what he is fighting for.

I am against this Republican mantra that pushes out the public and installs the wealthy. I think that the USA is also against this crass corrupt mindset. Am I a minority, or is the Democratic in Democratic Underground still my party? I believe in the Democratic Party that works to sustain civil rights, voters rights, the rule of compassionate Constitutional law, equality in the law and the insatiable quest for environmental sustainability.

I see this in Bernie and Hillary. I saw it in Barack and Joe. I see it in DU and I want to see it in our leaders, but I don't see it in the Republican Party. That is why I will fight with anyone who tackles these issues and I say I am a Democrat.

I'm relatively new to DU, though I've been around the block a while. I run proudliberal.org, though I've not done much with it as of late. But the healthcare bill has me irked, and I wanted to do something. So I picked one senator (Joni Ernst of Iowa) and put together a commercial targeting Iowans to get them to call her office in opposition.

I'm good with ideas, okay with technology, but poor with knowing what to do. So I'm tacking onto this already good healthcare video thread in the hopes that someone might offer suggestions, etc. The video is here:
