What multiple sources will tell you is that black block began in antifa struggles of Europe, which came about because the "denazification" of Europe was so sloppy that a lot of Nazis got away to various continents and dark hideouts in countries near the Eastern bloc.

Lately, because the State swings to shut down either the right (KKK or Yiannopolous, when force by law enforcement) or left (Occupys all over the country, or BLM) depending on its capitalist owners' interests at the moment, the State will identify any from either group and arrest, jail or "disappear" them.

So antifa go ninja and ninja turtle and do maximum hearts/minds change with as little violence as possible. Because we still got violent white supremacists who, when I was a kid, would still lynch a white person to teach them a lesson for being a "N-- lover." So there's that.

But if violence scares you, wait until you do nothing while fascism grows and see how, the longer you wait, the harder fascism is to stop.

Europe knows. Please. Go read something.

If you don't like my attitude, I'm sorry I'm not perfect. I have a reasonable right to expect my audience to at least look at basic references before asking something basic.

People who demand answers to what everyone knows as long developing problems, have to develop judgment about where to get their knowledge.

Elevator pitch length answers aren't enough to explain hundred year long problems and players.

In other words, simple questions imply simple answers; simple questions rarely have simple answers.

My standing principle is that Reading Is Resistance.

Reading is not just a part of life, it is a way of life.

I've always tried to arm myself with history so that a) it doesn't get erased, and b) I can have context available about the things I see, and c) I don't end up so vulnerable to propaganda.

of causing economic damage to corporations and an economic system they see as oppressive and destructive.

Antifa is exactly what it claims to be, a group of people that oppose fascism. It can be made up of anarchists, liberals, Martians, zombies, or anybody, the only requirements are that you oppose fascism and are willing to do so by force if necessary. Basically they're a group of people that grew tired of peaceful protesting not really working in the face of a grave threat.

32. There are probably thousands if not millions of events in human history

that would disagree with you. You think the people being slaughtered in Nazi concentration camps would have said violence wasn't the answer to what they were facing? There's a reason they cried tears of joy and showered liberating allied troops with adoration when they were finally liberated.
