8. Ehhh, I don't know.

Schneiderman, the AG from New York, has had a hard on for Trump since 2013 when he filed suit against him for the ridiculous "Trump University" scam. Trump had some very unkind words for Schneiderman, and there's been extremely bad blood between the two ever since. Schneiderman hates con-men, and people from the "ruling class" who abuse their position and power. Since Trump's prime residence is in New York, everything he's done before, during, and after his campaign falls within Scneiderman's purview. Mueller knows Trump would pardon himself, thus setting up a Constitutional crisis that could be tied up for quite some time. Trump CAN'T pardon himself from crimes committed in New York State, so the investigation may conclude that charges against Trump (and his key allies) would be better off being filed in New York, rather than in Federal Court.

Trump IS going to pay for his transgressions, in one place or another. His days of flouting the law are over. He's been giving law enforcement the finger his entire life, and now that bill has FINALLY come due. He WILL pay!

12. Trump really isn't an elite

and that's part of what is making him nuts. He desperately wants to be accepted and in fact be considered part of the upper crust. If you look at the faces of old money people (from all around the world) you can see the amusement and disdain in their faces.

I'm sure you're familiar with the saying "If you owe the bank $10k, the bank owns you. If you own the bank $1 million, you own the bank" Well dRump owes a lot of people a lot of money and they want their money back. A fair number of them are really nasty people. As long as they think keeping him in office keeps him as a money cow, he'll stay there.

The instant he loses his effectiveness and/or becomes too much of an embarrassment his time (and his kids) will be over. Look for all his lickspittles, toadies, and sycophants to go down with him.

He decided to play in the majors and that is a tough league to crack. They'll mess you up if you aren't of use to them just to send a message to anyone else who thinks they can jerk "the elite" around like dRump has tried to do. The man is a tool pure and simple.

Republicans in Senate are the only hope we have of saving our democracy.

I believe Mueller is a professional.

Pursuing state charges against Manafort in New York is him nullifying Trump's pardon power.

Most Republicans may be complicit in Russia's attempt to destroy America, but only 3 are needed to stop legislation to shut Mueller down.

Impeachment is probably impossible, but I believe this is going to get very painful for Trump, his family, and his cronies.

The more pressure that is applied to Trump and the Republicans who honor America more than the political power that complicity with Russia brings them, the likelier it is that this shit storm may be ended.

The GOP will wear the rotting carcass of Trump around their neck as long as they protect him.
