Acosta says that at the very end, I doubt Trump heard it, but others did. 32 seconds for entire clip...Halfway through Trump accuses Acosta of being, "fake news"..after Acosta asks about having a "press conference"..Trump says, we just had one.... There is a pause, Trump walks out... then Acosta says it.. ( and all of Trumps people are standing up front, they didn't get a chance to walk away, they heard it)

I stopped watching cable news years ago, so I cannot speak to whether or not Mr. Acosta challenged candidate Drumpf like this. I suspect not.

In the run-up to the election, these so-called journalists kissed Drumpf's pudgy, lily-white (I'm assuming, here) ass seven ways to Sunday. He brought them ratings numbers so they swallowed their journalistic integrity, and gladly put his bluster, his racism, his bullying at the top of the news. And now -- all of a sudden -- Acosta and others have decided to actually do the jobs they've been handsomely paid to do. Good for them, but this situation is due in large part to their Shinola treatment of this massive turd.

Sam Donaldson was the champ at yelling out provocative questions, especially right as the President was trying to exit the scene. More than once as they were leaving I saw the President do this stop, stagger-step thing as if to respond to some particularly irritating question delivered on the way out before they finally thought better of it and just kept going. Sam was good at that.

They used to have to exit from a side door giving the press much more time to nail them until, finally someone, Reagan I think, had an opening installed directly behind the podium so they could just turn around and get the fuck out of there. I'm sure it was largely because of Sam

The Pres would look out into the audience and, oh noes, there was that damn jerk Sam and you could almost see the dread in their eyes as they began to speak knowing what was in store for them once they finished their remarks and the questions began.
