5. This is how Trump's double standard works.

Republicans have all memorized this same diversionary tactic... "Oh look, Hillary!" But this is a flawed excuse if they are saying that the things they accuse Clinton of was wrong, then the same standard would also apply to Trump's behavior, and yet they always absolve him.

They can't admit that they've concocted and fabricated lies about Hillary from day one, so they have to keep up act, but what works for the goose, works for the gander as well. The significant difference is that it's not just a shiny distraction because Trump's crimes are real and he put the whole country at risk.
