2. Hypocrisy on Michael Moore

He supported Chavez and he has been outspoken about the situation in Venezuela in the past, supporting it as well, and to fail to recognize the chaos and corruption that the Maduro regime continues to impose on its citizens, and to say that the USA should not help in some way is not only, like I already said, hypocritical but wrong.

What happens in Venezuela affects everything that happens in South America, which in turn affects what happens in the USA.

The USA has turned its back to Vanezuela for too long, and now Puting has his eyes on that country and the rest of South America, is that what Moore and the USA want? I think not!

Moore, if you are not going to be sincere then stop pretending. Nothing wrong to admit you supported a corrupt government out of ignorance on your part, but it takes a real man to admit it, be a man.

The question should have been "When has the USA helped any country in South/Central America without retribution?" Never, but the issue is that the USA has changed governments in both Central and South America when these were not friendly to USA interests, but when that happened their excuse was the government that was not working for the people, which at the time was true, and if you ask anyone in Venezuela if they would welcome USA intervention, regardless of some of the retributions the USA may want, which usually is limited to OIL concessions, that they would say yes immediately.

They would rather have their politics be changed somewhat to serve some of the interests of the USA than to live under the current conditions, which are nothing but tyranny, corruption and cruelty, one of the worst dictatorships seen in South America's history.

The USA intervened in Venezuela in 1958, it was the wrong move because although the president then was a dictator, a Venezuelan government has never been so good to its people as it was then, so in that sense you are correct, they did not help although in the eyes of many the USA did because it helped institute a democracy. Chile, is another example where the USA intervened and helped bring democracy to the country, and there are other examples, but the issue is that Moore supported Chavez, and now he wants to retract from answering questions about the chaos that Chavez regime brought to the country, and the fact that politically the USA should had never allowed the Castro regime, who manipulated Chavez the same way that Putin wants to manipulate the clown in the white house, which proliferated to other South American countries like Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, and anyone paying attention understands that a Castro regime doesn't work for the people anywhere and that a Castro regime is an enemy of the USA.
