Plane lands, engine on fire, all escape safely, no injuries-Denver, July 2, CBS

Some "positive news" to start your July 4 holiday......Emergency vehicles rushed to the scene and a fire crew quickly put out the blaze. None of the 63 passengers and crew aboard the plane were injured, the airport confirmed in a tweet.

An explosion could send shrapnel quite far. I'm sure the flight crew advised the passengers to get farther away than they were, but the crew was probably still inside until all were evacuated.

The fuel is stored in the wings and between the wings in the belly of the plane, so all that was burning was either the residual fuel or parts of the engine that overheated.

Maybe they should have gotten closer and impeded some of the emergency responders. They were stupid and should have gotten as far away as possible.

overwhelm you in moments.

It's why paying attention to the safety briefing is important, knowing exactly where the nearest exit is...
