some sort of eye protection, I hope! I'm heading down they way myself. I'm 67 years old and this will probably be the last time I'd get to see something like this before infirmity sneaks in.
Maybe we should organize a DU eclipse party. Yeah, the best viewing takes place in a deep red state, but there must be someplace to gather where a bunch of liberal Democrats wouldn't bring out a reich-wing "greeting party".

so I'd travel by car. I love driving anyway, and being retired I can make any number of stops along the way. I MUST see this wonderful event, so I'll be going, by hook or by crook.
