Instead of ignoring Jones as much as possible, try to cash in a little bit on the ratings by covering it as much as possible and explain that you're only condemning it but giving Jones more exposure in the process.

No--Alex Jones does not deserve to be elevated as a serious individual in any media.

But ratings rule.

The same media helped to create a Trump presidency. And they still can't resist him.

The best way to deal with Jones is to give him as little attention as possible.

from the sanctions? Did he ever rail against the illegal war in Iraq? The war profiteer Darth Vader, did he get a pass? What was it he was saying about the protestors involved in Occupy, the protestors at the Republican Conventions, the horrible shit he said about President Obama?

Yeah, he was telling everyone the "truth" about the Newtown murders before all the lunatics latched on to the evil spew he continues to vomit to today.

NBC keeps getting deeper and deeper into the careless, mindless grab for what they think will be profitable. 60 Minutes used to be THE new show on Sundays, they were investigative journalists that researched and told the stories Americans needed to hear in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Their decision to go for the easy on the eyes reporters direction and disregard for journalism has made them a joke compared to what they were. They were the must see TV in growing up, CBS, NBC and ABC might as well just stop - now, they all are doing a nuisance and a disservice to inform the public.

I don't know if it was Reagan's fairness doctrine dismissal, but the 80's and 90's showed the downfall of investigative journalism.
