...are those that think they are still at war with Russia. If this is about 'hacking', the only thing to worry about is why are Russians better at it than you.

I was embarrassed for the audience. It's 2017, not 1949 - which yes - was horrific. The whole western world turned its eyes from some of the most brutal crimes against humanity only 3 years after the Nuremburg Trials.

I am looking forward to watching this. I am a big girl and can draw my own conclusions.

It's far too sophisticated to have been dreamed up in some basement, you know. This is a state product.

“The potential impact here is huge,” says ESET security researcher Robert Lipovsky. “If this is not a wakeup call, I don’t know what could be.”

How many days' food, water, medicine, cash do we each of us have on hand? Gas tank and cell phones always topped up so scattered loved ones can be brought home? Oh, wait--cell service likely failing also. Where are they?

This particular weapon doesn't sabotage water and gas delivery systems as is, but could be adapted to, and in any case everyone should plan for the inevitable broad range of cascading disasters if electricity were lost to their entire region--for at least weeks and probably months. Lots of months.

I've never liked Stone. Hated "Platoon". Skipped (I think) everything since Platoon, including "JFK".

The only good thing he's ever done was his cameo in "Dave".

I'm glad Stone didn't get away with his crap on that show.

However, I would bet the deplorables are going to love his movie.

It is not Russian propaganda.

Oliver Stone has always been a proponent of being aware of different perspectives - that the "Official Story" may not be the only story.

Do we not agree that America has a long history of needing and creating an enemy?

He made consistently powerful movies - Talk Radio, Platoon, Born on the 4th of July - and then somewhere halfway through Natural Born Killers his talent just ran out. His movies afterward are nearly all unwatchable. I've wondered if he dropped acid too many times or something. It's like it's not the work of the same person.

he is a corrupt snake in the grass that stole hundreds of billions of dollars from his own people and wants nothing but self gratification and to be omnipotent. He is the closest thing to Lex Luthor we have on this planet. tRump is a close second.

I don't know if Oswald acted alone or not but the stuff he put forward in the movie has been soundly debunked.

I can see why the audience could not hold back their laughter and groans. Stone was speaking nonsense. It is a shame what has become of him. I don't think he was always this stupid, gullible and fawning of authoritarian figures. To assert that Vladimir Putin "cares about his people" is indeed laughable. Putin is a kleptocratic murdering psychopath,. If he cared about his people, they would not have a lower per capita income than India, while Putin lives in gilded palaces,

I liked JFK, as an alternate viewpoint, and he gave me my most exciting cinematic experiance with Born On The Fourth Of July when I saw it in 70mm. He supported Jill Stein. He was not afraid to criticize Obama and call him a snake, he was another one wbi said Hillary would get us in a war. And now he will not say anything against Trump. And when he does, he brings it back to Hillary. He seems not concerned about people losing healthcare, the Muslim ban and any of Trumps domestic policies, just Russia. I agree with the bigger picture on Russia, but Putin is not it.

The sad thing is Stone will tell you "I'm not a political filmmaker, I am a dramatist". And he gets hurt when people criticize his films from a subject matter point of view and says things like, "ok, you don't like the subject, but what about the story? I care about the craft of filmmaking, and I spend time on it". Well Oliver, alot of that is down to you.
