TSA searches unconstitutional?

In the light of the latest cases on whistleblowers it looks like privacy in the US is more and more becoming a thing of the past. The TSA has come under fire lately for hands-on searches that some say just go too far. And moreover - TSA now says they have a right to search your smart phones. This is all coming after a man by name John Corbett filed a lawsuit against the TSA. He says they detained him for refusing to be groped and then rummaged though his belongings and read through his personal items.

RT' Web Producer Andrew Blake explains where the TSA should draw line.

She has explained to the press that TSA should not be wearing fancy uniforms, nor should they have epaulets on those uniforms./ They have no declared ability to arrest or detain anyone, as they are not police or even military. She has also examined the very poor quality in terms of screening job applicants, which probably explains why travelers end up with expensive items missing from their luggage after TSA handlers have gone through the luggage.

Unfortunately, this woman is a Republican. I do hope we get some representation on this issue from the other side of the aisle.

Supplying, they are not speaking in a correct manner about the situation.

The fact that our Executive In Chief, the Attorney General and that many in our Congress and the folks in Homeland Security have all been violating our constitutional rights does NOT mean that these rights are no longer ours.

Several times each of these reporters speak of civil rights and liberties we have had stolen out from under us as though those rights are no longer ours. They are ours. I suggest these reporters read the Declaration of independence and the Constitution.

The fact that our Federal government continues to ignore the Constitution only means that our Federal government is power hungry. it does not mean that our "god given" 'inalienable" rights can be given away, or stolen or offered up simply because the Corrupt Powers that Be have said they can be.
