So I'll start the trend.

(4,033 posts)3. I was a student at Ohio State that May 4th.
The University was closed down soon after, with a curfew and a cordon of National Guard. My apt happened to be 1/2 block inside the cordon. I had to be home by curfew and I had to show my ID to enter the cordon area.
I will say, that although tensions were high, the Guardsmen on the cordon line were just as shocked by Kent State as we were.

at a school where teaching assistants were given room and board, as stepped out, all the 2,200 students and the teachers, some holding newspapers were asking how could this happened?
DeGaulle had been kicked out of office because he thought about sending tanks to Paris during the May 68 demonstrations.
