If you go to Asia you will not see anyone hugging in public. (Or even kissing). That tradition has kind of followed to America, with Asian-Americans. Yes, they Hug in private, but never in public. Go to visit Chinatown, sit down and watch the crowds of Asians going about their daily chores, and you will never see couples holding hands or hugging in public.

Some day. Ya know, a friend of mine was talking to me and asking why I never got any Tattoos. I told them, in Japan, Tattoos are unwelcome at Public baths, 温泉 and the one place I really want to go is to an Onsen or Rotenburo.
