1. He could fire Comey himself. FBI directors are appointed for 10-year terms

but they can be removed by the President. All the 10-year term means is that after that period they have to step down unless they are re-appointed. So why doesn't SCROTUS fire him?

That clip where he says that Comey saved Hillary and she was guilty of every charge should be examined closely. That is the crux of our problem. James Comey didn't save Hillary's life - he cost her the election, dammit! People aren't totally excited about Neil Gorsuch - unless you mean people like the Koch brothers and other billionaire cronies and corporations. And in all probability, Trump's administration is grossly understaffed not because of obstructionism, but because he's been playing too much gold at Mar a Lago intead of hiring. And probably there isn't a steady stream of people beating a path to his door to be in his administration - the truth is probably exactly the opposite.
