6. I'm guessing she is autistic and was abandoned by her parents.

And found not too long thereafter, otherwise they would have found a corpse. She could not have been raised by monkeys. Monkeys didn't give her that haircut.

She comes from an impoverished region where it is difficult enough to provide for one's children, especially female children who require dowries. A special needs daughter is pretty much a hopeless situation in that part of the world.
