The 1/2 Hour News Hour -Fox News Attempt at Political Satire

Someone reminded me of this the other day and I just had to post. We all know Whatever the Democrats do successfully the Republicans have to try and attempt to do better. Our Obama ad video where Mitt sings,they try and out do by showing one for Mitt where Obama sings. Well, apparently FOX NEWS tried to do their version of the Daily Show or The Colbert Report or Weekend Update but with a far right slant. The results are a disater. I mean, Republicans trying to do satire and be funny is like torture. Here is an episode where Rush Limbaugh guest starred. WARNING: This is REALLY REALLY BAD. Please do not eat before watching this.You have been warned.

I won't post it, but if you type in the show title on youtube there other skits. I just watched the one on gun control and Athiests. If you don't believe in God you die and the guest on the show who don't believe in God suddenly start dying. Seriously, it's like watching a skit written by a first grade talent show. I read under some comments they had to use a laugh track because the audience that they brought in for some skits were not even laughing (They didn't know when they were suppose to laugh) so they just dubbed a laugh track. If you watch some older ones there are scenes were the laugh track starts before the line is even finished.It is truly embarrassing.

4. If you don't get satire you should not try to do satire.

And most right wingers don't get it.
But I suppose it is an attempt to reach people who do...which makes it all the more sad.
They are lacking in creativity and imagination.

Reminding us, not punishing. I watch The Colbert Report or Jon Stewart or Weekend Update and then watch this. I almost feel sorry for them. NO ONE REMEMBERS THIS SHOW and I want EVERYONE to REMEMBER IT! Even Fox wants you to forget about this.

from being a hate mongering radio shock jock to a genuinely creative, funny political satirist. Once you're known as one, you can't be the other. And besides, Limpballs is just NOT a funny person! Get real! He has NO sense of humor!
