Has Mrs. Pence been in the White House living quarters with her measuring tape?

I strongly suspect Mike Pence will be President by the summer of 2020, and what's more, I think he knows it.

then, let the funeral games begin. These dudes and their allies will be all daggers and brawl scenes. Let's hope Pence is jockeying for position and Trump's spies are delivering the treacherous news daily.

...is that Michael Pence is somehow innocent and not in the know regarding any of Trump's scandals. They volunteer this talking point without any prompting whatsoever. Republicans are more than happy to let Trump soak up all the negative press, but will eagerly defend Pence without prompting.

If Trump continues to command strong approval among the Republican base, Republicans in Congress will just go with the flow. However, if Trump's approval dips among Republicans, then they would happily pull the trigger. This might explain why Trump has been so happy to veer toward the Republican party's alt-right base.

I don't. They are all just as bad if not worse than trump. They don't need to get rid of him, he's doing their bidding.

They failed "bigly" (big league?) here. Then again, I do realize that Pence would have been tarred by the same brush as Trump. No matter. With our system set up as it is, we WILL have a republican president until 2020. If not Pence, then Ryan. The popular votes go down to defeat again. Gerrymandering at the state level is responsible for majorities in Congress as well. Somehow it always all works out in Republican's favor. Whatever happens in the midterms, nothing will prevent the fiasco we're facing. Democrats had a few months with a president and majorities. Not long enough, even had they tried to change things.
