Romney Adviser Stumped When Asked For Specifics Of Romneys Afghanistan Policy

Romney adviser Tara Wall
Amid charges that Mitt Romneys Afghanistan policy is, as Foreign Policy recently put it, unclear and confusing, Romney campaign adviser Tara Wall on MSNBC this morning could not provide any details on what presumptive GOP presidential nominee plans to do about the war there should he become president.
Noting that Romney is about to embark on a short trip abroad later this month, host Luke Russert relayed a recent report that two top Republican senators couldnt explain Romneys Afghanistan policy and wondered if he has to be more specific. At first, Wall appeared confused, eventually saying and in keeping with the Romney campaigns reported policy she didnt want to get into the details and then tried to shift the conversation back to the economy:

(53,661 posts)Its worth remembering that Cheney was known to be a central figure in aggressive Bush administration policies that led, among other outcomes, to a costly and unnecessary war in Iraq (something several Romney advisers supported). Cheney like some Romney advisers and other fundraisers supported attacking Iran (in contravention to Romneys espoused Iran policy). Cheney also considers himself a big supporter of waterboarding, and thinks the U.S. should revive the practice that most consider torture.
Romney previously called Cheney a man of wisdom and judgement. Now hes actuating that assessment by taking advice from the former vice president.

A Romney presidency run by Nordquist, Randians and Neocons would be the sum of my worst fears.

not only let her get away with not answering the question (for minutes) but also let her get away with "real Americans" several times.
I'm so mad that I emailed MSNBC (The Daily Rundown) to bitch.
