7. We were lucky, not anymore.

She first won here in 2006, ending years of Republican representation so entrenched that the Democratic party often didn't bother to field a candidate. Remember John Sweeney?? President Clinton actually came to this burg to campaign for her, very exciting - and I was there!

But since then we managed to elect one more Democrat, Scott Murphy who I worked for, then Chris Gibson beat him the second time around, we were redistricted - and now we're stuck with Elise Stefanik - who not only supported Trump, but looks to Paul Ryan as her mentor. She makes Chris Gibson look palatable. It was great while it lasted...

4. Whole presser on C-Span; excellent - he does a LOT more than just get emotional! Talks action.

THis is excellent. Must listen. 26 minutes but well worth it and heartening.
Says it is unconstitutional and they can overturn order if they can get a few more republicans. McCain has condemned it. Says it shows administration is totally incompetent among other things and talks about actions he and others are taking.
