The back of his head, and the side part of his face that is exposed beyond that indicates that he's smiling because his cheek is lifted up. Then his cheek very abruptly flattens and he turns to face the camera with a grim expression that includes self-satisfaction and self-approval at whatever he just suddenly lashed out at her with. Whatever it was, it was very deliberate and something he knew would really get to her - and she couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it because they were in public with all eyes on them.

It's like he was waiting for when her guard was most down.

He's an abuser, he tortures her and enjoys it, and he doesn't care who knows it. But he knows she does. This time she was so utterly taken aback by it that her facade cracked. And he loves that he made her feel like shit because his inauguration is a total fucking bust and someone must pay.

watch it again. Who is he REALLY looking at when he turns. I think that is the more revealing moment. I caught it. and you bet your butt so did Melania. She is miserable. She tries her best to cover her discomfort here and in the vid when the Predator-in-Chief leaves her behind when they got to the WH, but it's taking a toll on her. Men might not catch it..and nothing at ALL against men, but women see this from a mile away. Probably because we've been in that situation.. Got it. He looked right past his wife to the beaming gaze of daughter Ivanka. Melania is nothing more than window dressing, which has been evident for years. In unguarded moments, Melania's habitual expression is sadness, as if she knows she has made a bad bargain with life, but has resolved to live with it.
