Since the kid made it clear he was trying to do honest local newspaper business and didn't acquire the paper as a vanity platform, Ducker took the opportunity to use his own platform to slam actual journalists (and the WaPo specifically).

This kid is at least giving it an honest go. While Ducker mentions his stint at an Arkansas paper, his actual introduction to "journalism" was at an organ of the Heritage Foundation. But, this being FOX, any media that doesn't toe the Conservatively Correct line has to get slapped down for "liberal media bias".

"Dump on press that doesn't cheerlead conservative talking points"

My guess is that the young man has been interviewed and/or has spoken on these points previously, so Ducker knew in advance his likely answers, and engaged in precisely the sort of "partisan bad 'journalism'" that he accuses everyone else of.

yesterday morning. The newspaper is being renamed as the Monroe County Herald.

A teenager bought his town's newspaper. Now he'll cover his politician father.

Speechless? No, not by any definition of the word.

A dull interview by TC...
