(1,265 posts)I figured no good could come of dealing with people who would and then did brazenly tamper with elections. I had too many roots put down and didn't. Now I'm less firmly rooted and thinking about it all over again.

(617 posts)Where would you go if you did leave? Any places easier than others?

(1,261 posts)I could leave the US to live there, even if Clinton won: 6 weeks vacation, a social security program you could actually live off of, best public school system, lower crime(that's probably true of every country not at war), superb health care, beautiful, rugby, the people are down to Earth and friendlier(from my experience), gun control, political parties work together(relatively speaking), etc.
The taxes are high and it's farrrr, but overall, Australia's got it going on.

(111,343 posts)I'd also have my bags packed and be on the first plane out of here on the morning of November 9. He's right about the vindictiveness of Dirty Don and his relentless pursuit of revenge. I honestly believe that using the government to wreak vengeance on all his imagined enemies is the main reason Trump wants the presidency. He certainly has no idea what the job entails and no interest in learning.
