I'm so glad to see this. I had a deep suspicion about the Wisconsin recall election results because they just didn't mesh with the record-breaking tabulations resulting from the recall petition drive. I hope my suspicions are, legally, proven to be correct.

They have been doing this for yrs. for some reason the democratic leaders won't address it. I really believe this is real, I think they used it to strategically put all those republican governors in place. There is no transparency and no democracy in our process.

I'm hyped about the recount and discovery of rethug election fraud, but I haven't heard anyone discuss if it can effect the results. I thought I remember hearing there is a time after an election that ballots could be challenged, canvasses done, etc., but at some point the results are certified and that's that. It's been over a month since the election.

Can't believe we are sitting on our hands while voting machines all across the country are being controlled by Republicans!

I also believe the Prop 8 vote in CA was "flipped" by evm's. Prior to the vote polling indicated Prop 8 would lose 52 to 49. Exit polling indicated Prop 8 would lose 52-49, When the 'official' evm tally came in it had won 52-49. Coincidence?

I'm sure there are many more instances of ebvm's being employed to control the outcome of a vote.
Gas pumps, ATM's, freestanding DVD rental boxes, etc. operate pretty flawlessly, are not easily hackable AND can give you a printed receipt of your transaction. EVM's cannot...design flaw or design intention?

be exposed. A face and their political affiliations need to be exposed. Mitt Rmoney is
counting on these machines to deliver the white house to him.
I would love to donate to this group
I just need to see who's behind the corporate voting machines company.

So a district voted to replace a republican senator w/ a democratic one but
it also voted to keep Walker in office?

Command Central Penalizes Crawford County $12,400
July 14th, 2012 | Author: Dennis Kern
Oh…and it is MY Fault

Command Central has a Scary Secret

Command Central is the vendor for electronic voting machines in Crawford and many other counties throughout Wisconsin. Who is Command Central? Command Central is a private corporation that supplies election hardware and the programming and tabulation software that goes along with it. Yet they have no real oversight by any government agency, elected official(s), or the judiciary. Therefore the corporation holds a very scary and unique secret that flies in the face of Democracy. In a country that was founded with a constitution to provide a proven structure of checks and balances among the three branches of government, Command Central has none.
Oversight over land development and water quality but not your vote?

What other private corporation providing service to the government is free of checks and balances and oversight? The private companies that contract repair and construct our highways, towers, and bridges are under strict scrutiny. Mining and land development interests must meet exacting standards to insure that drinking water, and the drainage of the land is not compromised. Now comes the irony that is almost embarrassing: where is the oversight when it comes protecting our most vital act in our Democracy – our vote? It is a secret. Not only do we allow Command Central to write secret programming to count our votes, but instead of oversight and scrutiny Command Central’s most undemocratic secret gets protection and blind compliance from elected officials.

When rightfully concerned citizens attempt to verify the accuracy of the machine vote count, or inspect election materials after the vote, they are met by the Government Accountability Board and Kevin Kennedy and County Clerks with obstruction and vilification like so many gnats circling the vote bags like it was spilled koolaid.

and sometimes the highest bidder is a Democratic leader.

I think all politicians really like knowing they can buy the election by rigging a few machines through pay offs and bribes.

That's why neither Democrats or RepubliCONS have investigated this.

Here's to pretending once again that we have a democracy.
