and have offended so many parents who take critical thinking as an assault on their "values," I can only be grateful that some of these kids do learn to think for themselves. Outlets such as Fox "News" have been poisoning critical thinking. I honestly don't believe liberal outlets have been as bad, but extremes on the right, still foster extremes on the left.

Before the takeover by right-wing propaganda, I think Americans at least had more common sense.

4. Dystopia Theme

I've been hammering the idea that we're on the road to a Dystopia for a decade now. I usually use the example of about a hundred or more SyFy movies, about how rare it is we see one like Star Trek, or a generally positive movie, that thinks our future will be all bright, and Socialist. If you've not noticed socialist themes in Star Trek, you've not been paying attention.

Far as I can tell, observing the primary, we're still on the road to nowhere, the Dystopia still looms, nearing, ever into view. If we could only win back the left, in the Democratic Party, that would be a start. And push to get a little more left, in our left.
