basically a 21st century Archie Bunker! Rationalize everything, clueless, not as bright as you'd think.

Over 25% of Florida was born out of the US. Here in Clearwater, there are more registered Democrats than *repubs* but they don't turn out to vote. The retired folks will all turn out - 80%+.

Mail in ballots are really, really helping the Democrats and soon we'll have more voting by mail than at the polls. All they watch is Fox news if they watch anything except the golf channel.

Florida is changing rapidly, and these folks are losing out to the immigrants from PR and many, many legal citizens from SA, Europe, and Asia. My students are about 50% from other countries, and not as many from Mexico as you'd think.

They may be the last generation to benefit from the comfortable retirement Democrats worked so hard to ensure.
Privileged fools, all of them.

The portrayal in this video is exactly the way it is. What they don't say is that people in the Village have yard workers, housekeepers, handy men/women and others work for them who are those immigrants they love to hate... the ones who give them good deals. The developers of the Villages (who have become extremely wealthy) are die-hard Republicans and the Villages newspaper is pretty much a GOP propagandist rag. There are Democrats around here but they are quieter because the Trump supporters are crazy, but those Democrats will vote too. I've been told by Democratic organizers that Hillary supporters are very enthusiastic.

My husband and I did voter registration the other day for the Hillary campaign and even though we had no Hillary signs, we had several people say they were voting Democratic. One man stopped and talked for a long time trying to work out who to vote for. He's disabled and doesn't like Trump at all, but was worried about Hillary's health. I said Trump is older than Hillary and women tend to outlive men. He said he knew that, but was still worried. I said in that case, he needed to look at the vice-presidential candidates. Tim Kaine is a good man, a person who can work with everyone while Pence is not. He agreed with that, and I think was convinced to vote for Hillary after we talked.

Hillary has been a role model for me and now I can do a little something for her. Losing isn't an option.

to have such a lovely retirement . Did they have good paying jobs with possibly union representation. A good pension or retirement plan. Health coverage thru the employer. Trump will eliminate such things so this resort community better enjoy it's last decade because these are the last group of residents who can afford such a retirement.
