Jan Brewer shamed for looking the other way while Trump promoted birther lies
Brewer attempted to defend herself, saying she heard the birther stories during a “feeding frenzy on both sides of the aisle.”
“A feeding frenzy he created! ” Tanden shot back.
“What do you mean by both sides of the aisle?” asked host Jake Tapper who appeared baffled.
“Well, you had Democrats repeating it,” she claimed.”They were questioning where he was born.”
“Democrats were?” Tapper asked.
“Of course!” Brewer replied.
“I don’t know what that is about,” Tapper stated before moving on.
