I enjoyed that video.
Many times fiction is much more credible than non fiction.
"Huckleberry Finn" would be a great example.
So would "Grapes Of Wrath" or "Sweet Tuesday"
I'm retired and I read most of the time.
It's made me very smart.

Reading fiction is not the way to learn empathy. You learn empathy from your family. If your family tell you to treat people a certain way and to think about their feelings you will be an empathic person. I have always had empathy, but I did not always read fiction. I was; however, taught to treat people right.
