In my twenties; late sixties to mid to late seventies, I cast a lot of idealistic votes (couldn't vote until 21, but was a "Kennedy Girl "in 1960, when my Mom, active in local Democratic politics, was on stage with JFK when he came to town). My daughter cast her first vote for Nader in 2000, and was beating herself up-- but Gore won our state, so no damage. Jill Stein? I never checked her out until this election, and assumed she was, per her publicity, some kind of liberal saint--Right! Within a few minutes of checking out an interview with her, the first word that came to mind was SMUG. Further research hasn't improved my opinion. As a retired educator, I found some of her ideas regarding tuition free college ( which I approve, but there are also many more expenses) in the present day, and equating it to the G.I.Bill , insane. Job possibilities in the fifties were abundant even without a high school degree: a college undergraduate degree was Great! Today: not so much, even after grad school. There's just this aura with Stein where she seems to feel she's really superior. Going after Hillary? Won't give Stein the slightest boost, so does she prefer Trump? Just being a "spanner in the works," as the British used to say?

Stein will be on at least 95% of ballots. When Thom was hosting the Stein Johnson debate he kept saying how wonderful Stein is on the issues. She is a real progressive and the Green Party does not take corporate donations.

If Stein is so weak, why is Thom so threatened?

that she is spot on with many issues, but she isn't trustable, she is a disgusting opportunist who runs for President every 4 years. Get some experience in lower levels of government before you run for the highest office in the land. She's just like tRump

Great party leader Vladimir Putin has already planned that Trump will be his Neo-Soviet satellite stooge, long enough to achieve great leftist agenda such as getting rid of LGBT and turning the EU into Soviet Satellite. Comrade Stein is good for this goal yes, so you better start backing her and comrade trump or your new RT office will be in Siberia, where digging sewer will be added to your duties.

are White and have money can afford to vote 3rd party (or sit out elections), but those of us who don't fit that criteria would be taking a big risk. As someone who comes from a Black and low-income family, none of us can afford the type of Limousine Liberalism of spending our votes on a spoiler candidate and pouting if we don't get everything we want. The way I see it, a person isn't going to get everything they want no matter who is president. Besides, I actually like Hillary Clinton, and I appreciate Obama's presidency. I'm also not a fan of Jill Stein and her campaign approach at all, and am not impressed with her record.

Supporters of 3rd parties seem to think that a Trump presidency would pave the way for a hard-Left utopia to rise from ashes, but what makes them so sure that it would occur? Historically, this hasn't been the case in many countries where things have gone south. Some point to Scandinavia as a beacon of progressivism, but none of those countries in that area arrived there overnight. It took steady progress over a long period of time, and plenty of hard work when it comes to participating in every election (and at every level of government). That's what Green voters and non-voters need to understand.

I haven't seen that. Where I live, if I somehow managed to get away with voting for Clinton as many times as I could from when the polls opened until they closed, drumpf would still win. T I'm really interested in seeing the newest 50 State Strategy in operation, especially on non-Presidential election years.
