For years, conservative Republicans have been saying "If we would just nominate a true conservative with a strong conservative message, we would win the White House in a walk".

Now they have nominated a guy who is anything but conservative, but is an open festering pus filled sore of bigotry, misogyny, racism, paranoia, bullying, personal attacks, and just plain old lunacy.

And now the Conservative Republicans fall in line.

The same for the Religious Right and the Values Voters. Falling in line with the morally bankrupt, promiscuous, con man who openly brags about his scorched earth "deal making" where everybody gets screwed and he walks away with a boatload of money.
