The short answer, NO. I still give the pledge of allegiance without the "under God" Eisenhower addition.
If a nation is not moving toward a better future for all it matters not where you call home. I don't believe our goal should be a trip back to the future. The values that we share as Americans, regardless of our place of birth, are what is worth saving.
We believe in democratic governance. A separation of Church and state. "Render unto Cesar that which is Cesar's and unto God, that which is Gods'."
We believe in the "rule of law", not the rule of oligarchs and other 1% wonders of wealth inheritance.
We do not believe in the violence promoted by hate groups, the NRA, bibi in Israel or hawkish politicians everywhere.
We believe that corporations should promote lifting the wages of all as it well bring lasting prosperity to all, rich or poor. We believe that clean water, air and food are vital to the planets' and human survival.
