I was pissed then
It was forgotten that we wouldn't be a country w/o France & Ben Franklin.

Statue of Liberty, a gift from France.
Of course, we have done plenty for them also WWII

I am lucky enough to be in France today (La Rochelle) for the celebration. We are waiting for the wonderful firework display over the port.

I was in Paris in 1966 to watch deGaulle riding in the parade up the Champs deElysses with the French air force in formation overhead. What a great experience that was!
