Mississippi Burning is an all-names-changed dramatization of the Ku Klux Klan's murders of three civil rights workers in 1964. ... The title Mississippi Burning is certainly appropriate: nearly half the film is taken up with scenes of smoke and flame.

an underrated villain actor. Similar to Michael Ironside and Michael Wincott.

in "The Two Towers" and as the Mentat Piter Devries in "Dune." In a non-villain role, he was perfect as the doctor in the HBO series "Deadwood." I haven't seen "Mississippi Burning," but I'm going to watch it tonight.
