So just like every other election, vote Democratic or Hitler will get in. Wow. And I love how this boob just keeps repeating the same old talking points. Does he really think Sanders supporters are so stupid they have somehow missed all this? Really? Get stuffed, pal. A Sanders supporter who hears this absolute crap will no doubt shot put their computer out the window.

Part of the problem is that whenever someone comes up with a solution to the two-party problem, it is immediately branded as "unworkable", "too expensive", "outside our traditions" and so on. So the argument is always limited to A and B. If you don't want A, your only choice is B, no matter how ethically iffy or warmongering B might be (unintended).

We are permanently jammed into a system that ensures only certain limited solutions are offered. And believe me, the solution is NOT "get along to go along."

Oh, and I didn't hear anywhere on the video where the BoB movement was declared or proven to be illogical. Might want to change that.

Bernie says most likely he would vote for Hillary in November and he will do everything possible to make sure Donald Trump is defeated. I hope the supporters will support him when he tells them what he thinks they should do. I think we will see that very soon.

NEW YORK TIMES: Hillary Clinton Embraces Ideas From Bernie Sanders's College Tuition Plan

WASHINGTON POST: Clinton seeks young voters with wider debt-free college plan

HUFFINGTON POST: Hillary Clinton Unveils Debt-Free College For All, Adopting Major Bernie Sanders Plank

Bernie Sanders says, "I applaud Secretary Clinton for the very bold initiative...This proposal, when implemented, will revolutionize the funding of higher education in America."

Progressive activism made this happen. Bloomberg reports, "The phrase 'debt-free college' was hardly present in the national political lexicon until the Progressive Change Campaign Committee launched a campaign to push Democrats to support the idea.""

But IMO, as a Bernie supporter, it would be too disastrous to the country, even in some areas irreversibly damaging, if Trump were elected because enough Bernie supporters stayed home.

I guess the idea of Bernie or Busters is to usher in a period of unrelenting setbacks, violence, poverty while emboldening the brown shirts. Dismantling of any regulations for Wall Street, nothing done on gun control, or systematic racism in the police, the laughing stock of the world, set backs for women's rights to the '50s etc... Sending the country into a tailspin where a majority will be woken up to the fact that this was a bad decision.

What you are counting on is that there is a moderately liberal majority, including those that voted for Trump that will see the errors of their ways because of the upheaval and renounce Republicans forever and the Democrats will nominate a newer version of Bernie Sanders, or even Sanders himself, who will sweep into office as early as 2020 to begin the thousand year reign of progressives.

But just as likely, actually more so I fear, is that if B or B's manage to hand the presidency over to Trump, it will only embolden the racist sexist bigots, and stir up those hidden tendencies in many others. Not to mention new appointments to the SCOTUS that will for a long time after Trump help to steer his extremist agenda. Just as many Germans years later after Hitler were astounded that even themselves could be so caught up in such a bigoted national fervor, it could happen in America after 4 and especially after 8 long years of Trump prompted up by Fox News and Hate Radio.

............

One thing I do actually agree with the Don about though!

Opening up libel laws so "news media" can be sued easier for printing or saying lies. Because it would overwhelmingly be bad for Fox News.

That is clear. Hillary Clinton will be the nominee. Now the question becomes what will be the best thing for progressives to do. We could sit it out, or vote against the democratic nominee, to send a message that our votes will not be taken for granted. But would that really improve the situation? Threats and hostage taking are not going to convince other democrats that progressives should be listened to. It would probably have the opposite effect.

Unfortunately things do not move as quickly as we would like them to. It takes perseverance to make change, not blowing things up every time one does not get their way.

I am as disappointed in the democratic party as many other progressives. But it's the only one we've got so we must continue to try and improve it from within.

But there are certainly degrees of losing, and a Trump victory would be the worst.
