2. Trivializing child rape charges isn't "hilarious"

My gut suspicion is that Epstein is guilty and Trump isn't directly involved. But throwing volitile charges like this around, whether true or not, without substantial corroboration, is clearly meant to smear and enrage, not to enlighten. If true, of course, Trump is massively more disgusting than I thought already. But if, like I suspect, it's just another Republican smear for the sake of improving their chances in the coming election, then there is nothing hilarious here. It's just assholes attacking assholes and treating child rape as a lurid topic for exploitation.
