(45,528 posts)in Florida even white men with a tan and dark hair can look like this guy. It looks like it's just not enough evidence to raise enough red flags. Dude worked in security and probably knew what kind of behavior would be suspicious and avoid it.

(1,254 posts)Mateen was asking questions and behaving in a manner that was suspicious. Since he got turned down the first time, perhaps it tipped Mateen off, he avoided setting off any alarms at the second time. IF this really happened and the first shop was concerned, you would have thought the first gun shop would have tried to get a verifiable identification. He didn't even have a name.
