I was 19 and unable to vote. Back then the voting age was 21. During a Sunday sermon our pastor gave advice on "How to Vote." Leaving church I held his hand, quite firmly, and told him "I don't come to church to be told how to vote." I must not have been alone because there was no more political advice from the pulpit.
Churches, temples and mosques that advise on voting should immediately, permanently lose their tax free status.
